If you would like to learn how traditional media properties like newspapers and TV & Radio stations, can sell Internet ads germane to their local markets, this interview is for you.

This is bad news for the traditional local media properties. They need to figure out how to adapt.

First, they have to establish a strong Web presence. It cannot merely be compendium of pretty pages which only provide information about the companies owning the traditional media properties. Newspapers must do more than merely replicate the stories they have in the print edition. Web audiences need to be engaged with interactivity as well as video, and audio programming.

Finally, to become attractive to national advertises that want to reach the communities where the subject media properties are located, they need to join into a network of Websites composed of others like them in different localities.
